Our Infant Program provides a calm, nurturing environment where your baby can safely explore, grow, and discover the world. Every moment is guided by gentle care, respect, and understanding of each child’s unique rhythm. Through sensory play, movement, and warm connections with our certified educators, your little one begins their journey toward confidence, curiosity, and independence the Montessori way.
A Gentle Start to Growth
Our infant classrooms are designed with simplicity and intention soft lighting, natural materials, and gentle colors that encourage focus and comfort. Every object within reach is chosen to invite exploration and movement. Low mirrors, child-sized furniture, and open floor space allow babies to develop strength and coordination at their own pace.
Our trained Montessori educators observe and respond to each baby’s individual needs with patience and warmth. We honor every child’s unique rhythm offering encouragement during tummy time, celebrating new milestones, and providing a secure base from which they can confidently explore.
Our Classroom Enviroment
The Montessori infant and toddler environment provides a safe, calm, and carefully designed setting for optimal learning that nurtures the physical and spiritual being. Sensory, cognitive, language, social, and cultural activities address the natural tendencies of the child’s developmental process. Even at this early stage, a child is soon able to make choices for their own independence.
Our Montessori teachers embrace a child-centered philosophy that demands a respect for the child and support for all of their incredible potential. Within the safety of the prepared environment and under the watchful observation and guidance the child is free to explore the world around them.
The routine tasks of infant care including feeding, bathing, diapering, and soothing them are of utmost importance to the baby’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development. It is through these routines that the first human relationships are formed. When they are performed with sensitivity to the infant’s individual rhythms and needs, it is more likely that the individual child will develop healthily.
Our teachers in our infant care program understand just how much your baby is learning and absorbing during these early years of life. We work hard to ensure they are getting the care they need to develop and learn. Our infant care program is for children from 6 months to 18 months old. This is an important time in their life and we take pride in providing them with the care they need to thrive.
